What if you got a wheelchair and went out with Davecat and some friends? And maybe even film it with a camera. People would be less likely to bother you if they see you’re with people and filming. Then you can record the public’s response.
My lad and I have friends in Illinois; they’re like us, as ‘Hans’ (not his real name) is Organik and ‘Bee’ is his Synthetik wife — she was actually with us on our second TLC appearance — and they go everywhere together. He takes her in her wheelchair to the zoo, the shops, the riverside… it’s pretty remarkable, and reactions to them have ranged from confusion to compliments. He’d filmed them being out and about once, but as he was pushing Bee along with one hand and filming with the other, it kinda didn’t turn out so well, visually speaking. But still!
Davecat and I are naturally averse to crowds, but having a bunch of mates tag along might ease the shock for everyone involved. Only problem is, there’s really nowhere to go in SE Michigan! Maybe next time my lad and his mates decide to visit Toronto again…
